For The Kids
Helping Local Families
For the Kids, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) charitable organization founded by Gary Heldt, Jr., owner of Small Business Advisors, and Mike Thomas, owner of Lighthouse Insurance Services. Both Gary and Mike live and work in Crofton, Maryland.
This charity tournament was started as a way to give back to their community. Each year, a local child suffering from a serious illness and in need of financial support is chosen as the beneficiary.
Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to donate almost $500,000 to local families in need. Let’s work together to make this our most successful tournament yet!

For The Kids knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2000, our Non-Profit Organization realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch For The Kids.
